The Client

Rose Training Australia is a Registered Training Organisation with its head office in Brisbane. Rose Training cares about their students and their learning outcomes. The trainers are hand-picked not only for their exceptional industry skills and experience, but for how they engage and work with students one-on-one to foster confidence.

They offer face to face and online courses in Training & Assessment, Celebrancy, Wedding Planning, Funeral Services Training and a diploma in Social Media Marketing.

The Problem

In a Google Ads review we identified several areas of concern with the existing account. For starters, there were hundreds of AdGroups created but the ads were all generic and did not match them AdGroup theme. In addition, using Google Analytics, we identified a high bounce-rate on the website course pages were they were previously directing traffic to.

Our analysis on this data was that the website had too much information with no clear call-to-action and was causing low time-on-site and high bounce rates.

Our Strategy
Firstly we culled out all keywords with low search volume errors as these likely won’t receive delivery. We then created highly relevant ads that match a users search query in order to improve the CTR. The biggest impact change was creating specific landing pages for each course, with no nav-bar and only the value-rich pieces of content to pique a prospective customers interest. The result? With only a 10% increase in spend we increased conversions by 165%!
